Re-United...

So this last weekend my friend Michelle whom I haven't seen in 6 years came to Vegas to visit! We chilled at the park and caught up....Wow how times fly by. We are now raising two princesses who got along great! I also was also able to catch up with my old boss Kim from old NPI. It's funny, our lifes have changed so much but we are the same people...just smarter!! We attempted to start a mtv dance party by the pool/spa in Kims backyard....But ended up watching Bride wars instead....Talk about old people!

Seems like everyone has a blog these days, so we decided to start one too...thanks to some help from my sister in law, Mandi...thanks a million for the push!

About our family

Brett and I met in May of 2001 in Arizona and we were married in November of 2001 in the Las Vegas temple. We did not waste anytime! Brett had just graduated from Arizona state University and was thinking about what he wanted to do in his career. We decided the military was best for us, they stationed us at Ft Richardson in Alaska. Definitely an experience of a lifetime. We had Fenix in April of 2004 and Kendall in May of 2005. Brett then spent 13 months serving in Iraq, came home and we decided the military life was not for us. Relocated back to Henderson, Nevada and here we are. Here's the latest with the Harris family.

Brett

After finally getting out of the car business, he was blessed with getting a job working as a surrveilance investigator at the Excalibur casino. Brett works grave-yards so is finally getting used to the different hours. He is also suffering from PTSD and headaches from his service in Iraq so he's been visiting the VA here in Las Vegas.

Beth

I was able to be a stay at home mom for a little while but then I started getting bored and decided to get back into the work force. I started woring for Farmers Insurance, was then promoted to selling insurance however was comissioned and wasn't really working for me. I then decided to leave Farmers and started working for an insurance broker which I love. I am currently working on my P&C insurance license which I am hoping I will get by June.

Taylor

Tay is now in Jr high and is boy crazy. She loves being able to have different classes from staying in the same class all day. She is a great help with her brother and sister. She's looking forward to girls church camp next month.

Fenix

Buzzy has fallen in love! Yes he adores the wii. It's the first thing that is turned on in the morning and the last to be turned off at night. We just had his 5th birthday...wow does time fly. He is attending pre-k and is doing awesome. He can spell and write his name which is huge progress for our little man.

Kendall

Nenny is taking after her aunt Mandi when it comes to doing hair. Kendall loves cutting hair, she has cut her hair yet again. Other than cutting, she loves dress up. She also loves anything affiliated with princesses. She does such a wonderful job in taking care of her brother. Anytime she wants a drink or a snack, she makes sure she gets one for him too!
